Description

Seamless elbow is also known as seamless steel pipe elbow. Due to its different manufacturing process, seamless elbow pipe can be divided into hot rolling (extrusion) seamless elbow pipe fitting and cold drawing (rolling) seamless elbow pipe fitting. Cold drawn (rolled) pipe is divided into round pipe and special-shaped pipe.

Method of seamless elbow forming process:

1. Forging method: the end or part of the pipe is punched and stretched with a die forging machine to reduce the outer diameter. The commonly used forging machines include rotary type, connecting rod type and rolling wheel type.

2. Rolling method: generally no mandrel, suitable for the inner edge of thick wall pipe. The core is placed in the tube, and the outer circumference is pushed by a roller, which is used to process the circular edge.

3. Stamping method: the pipe end is expanded to the required size and shape with a taper core on the punch.

4. Bulging method: one is to place rubber in the pipe and use a punch to compress the upper part to make the pipe protrude into shape; the other method is hydraulic bulging forming, in which liquid is filled in the middle of the pipe, and the liquid pressure bulges the pipe into the required shape. This method is used in most bellows production.

5. Bending forming method: there are three commonly used methods, one is called stretching method, the other is stamping method, and the third is roller method, which has 3-4 rollers, two fixed rollers, one adjusting roll, and adjusting the fixed roll distance. The finished pipe fittings are bent.
