Gabion basket, also known as gabion mesh, green grid, gabion retaining wall, Reynolds pad, reinforced gabion, gabion cage, etc., is a widely used material structure in recent years for traffic, water conservancy, municipal, gardens, soil and water conservation and other engineering projects.

It is made up of corrosion-resistant, high-strength, low-carbon galvanized steel wire or 5% to 10% thin alloy-coated steel wire (or homogeneous-coated polymer steel wire) that is twisted by machine into hexagonal mesh mesh. Technical Parameters:

This low carbon steel wire is designed for twist knitting with mesh ranging from a quarter to eight, wire diameter from 1.5mm to 5.0mm, and aperture of 60*80, 100*120, 120*150 or 160*180. It was originally produced in Anping, Hebei and can be used for multiple purposes such as coastal defense engineering, river protection, and garden landscape. The surface treatment process for this product consists of plastic-coating with PVC, and is also available in customizable sizes.

Applications:

Stone cage net is mainly used to guide the river water. Rivers tend to flow along natural channels, and in cases of flooding, with its strong water current and high volume, the river may be diverted from the original channel and cause serious damage. In order to prevent rapid water erosion of the embankment or the edge of the channel, stone cage cage or stone cage mat can be laid in the inside of the embankment or the edge of the channel.
