The apron spare parts is a heavy duty component on impact crushers. It is used as wear spare parts and some wear plate been fixed on it. Meanwhile, the apron is fixed with hydraulic system with adjustable function. During impact crusher working, the material been bread by blow bars and then hit on the apron with wear plates, and material will be broken again when this happened.
The commen material for apron is manganese steel material, and the wear plate been fix with it usually produced by chrom iron materials. Material details as follow:

The production process is sodium silica sand process or resin sand casting process. Sodium silica sand casting process is very common process for manganese steel castings. It have advantage on production cost, by suitable process control we are able to get good quality castings. Resin sand process is another suitable process for these kinds of castings, by resin sand casting, we get much better surface quality.
Regarding inspection of the apron, the requirement is high as it is important spare parts for impact machine. Following important inspection will be carried out:
1. UT inspection for the rotation part. It is important to have no defects inside of casting, so it will not broken duting working, and have longer working life:
2. MT imspection or PT inspection for all surfaces. The castings must free of cracks, which may easily cause casting failure when working. During production, all the pieces and all surfaces must be checked by PT;
3. For sample castings, some even have to inspected by X-ray method.
