Product Description:

Welded mesh gabions are made of welded wire mesh fabrics. This type of mesh is more resistant and is hot-dip galvanized wire and Galfan wire, Galfan coating type is the most durable wire coating available internationally, can be ensure gabion structures achieve a far longer design life, Welded mesh gabions are uniformly welded and can be supplied of various sizes.

How to install welded gabion box:

After checking you have all the components, open out the mesh panels.

Lift the side panels into vertical position and join by feeding the correct length of helical formed spiral into the corner, using a rotating action, until the helical is fully engaged.

When the helical is fully engaged, the formed end should lock in place.

All panel joints (vertical joints) are formed by assembling to the adjacent panel. Each joint is retained with one helical. 

Repeat the filling and stiffener wire installation until the gabion is full and then close the lid by joining with the correct helical while ensuring the top mesh bears down on the rock fill.

Welded mesh gabions benefits:

Flexibility: Subjected to alternating forces of tension and compression, the inherent flexibility of a gabion structure enables it to deform rather than break.

Strength: Since gabions are bound together as a monolithic unit, the wire mesh is extremely strong under tension.

Economy: Wire mesh gabions are less expensive than most construction materials, Gabion structures are virtually maintenance free and very easy to install.

Applications:

Gabions made of welded wire fabrics offer much strength compared with woven wire gabions while they have siar flexibility, Welded gabions can be connected with other siar containers and filled with stone to form flexible and permeable structures for retaining of riverbank and soils.
