Semi-conductive copolymer coated aluminum tape consists of aluminum tape coated on one side with an adherent ethylene copolymer, coated on the other side with an black semi-conductive ethylene copolymer, The semi-conductive copolymer coated aluminum tape can eliminate static electricity for avoiding partial discharge on XLPE insulated cable. It provides a moisture and chemical barrier, shielding layer for XLPE insulated cables
