High Speed Sheet Metal Coil Slitting Lines Customized
High speed slitting lines means line speed 120m/min, 150m/min, max up to 200m/min, plus efficient down time of loading, threading and unloading about10minutes, e.g. slit a 0.3mm x 1250mm 15T steel coil at 150m/min, it takes 35minutes, total 45minutes, each 8hour 10coils 150T.
Characters of each unit:
- Coil storing saddle: put one coil on the saddle, coil car come under the coil and lift it up, which reduces overhead crane working time and avoid steel coil being damaged if crane directly put coil on coil car.
- Coil loading car: either floor type or pit type, load coil onto uncoil mandrel.
- Uncoiler: single mandrel cantilever or shaft end with support, hydraulic expansion mandrel proper for 508mm, and can install additional segments or rubber sleeve to uncoiler bigger ID coils. The load on mandrel varies with different dimensions coils.
- Coil head press roller, peeler shoveling plate: cooperate with each other to open coill head and send into pinch feeder.
- Pinch feeder and preleveler: in threading stage send coil head forward to slitter, in automatic mode, synchronous with slitter continuously sending sheet metal into accumulator.
- 1# first accumulator loop in ground: hydraulic flapping plate as bridge to let sheet pass over in threading stage, in automatic mode, accumulate steel trip in pit to synchronize feeding and slitting speed, with electric sensors on pit walls to control looping.
- Press rollers and side guide: to horizontally and vertically guide steel strip on center of slitting machine.
- Main machine, slitter: include a pair of parallel shafts, one moveable slitter stand, one fixed slitter stand, screw down mechanism, drive and transmission controlled by DC / AC driver, operator install knives and spacers onto the dual shafts in accordance with finished strips sizes.
- Edge scrap winder: wind up edge scrap, winding tension is controlled by frequency converter.
- 2# accumulator loop pit: the same structure with 1# accumulator pit, to guarantee synchronous speed of slitting and recoiling, the slit strips never ever entangle in the loop.
- Tension and speed measuring unit: hydraulic wool felt type or roller type tension provision of recoiling, encoding measure line speed before recoiling.
- Deflector roller and pre separator: before recoiling, separate steel strips in order and guide strips direction to recoil mandrel nipper.
- Separating overarm and recoiler: either seamless or open segments mandrel, to make sure good recoiling, coiling hump ≤0.5mm, edge difference ±0.10mm, overarm separator is hydraulically moving up with the recoiling coil becoming bigger.
- Electric control system: Siemens PLC to control the slitting line working at high speed.
- Hydraulic station and pipelines: Siemens AC pump motor, Yuken variable piston pump and seamless oil pipes.
