1.4521 Ferrite Chromium Stainless Steel Strip 400 Series AISI 444 SS Strips​

Grade 444 stainless steel strip, also called 1.4521 ferritic chromium stainless steel strip.

Grade 444 stainless steel strip is a ferritic chromium stainless steel with molybdenum in addition.

Compared with commonly used grade 430 stainless steel strip, it has high chromium content.

This stainless steel has good resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion.

Its corrosion resistance is even better than 304 stainless steel strip and 316L stainless steel strip in some applications.

The yield strength of 444 stainless steel strip is equivalent to 1.5 times that of carbon steel strip, and it has extremely high characteristics such as impact resistance.

Grade 444 stainless steel strip is a nickel-free, molybdenum alloyed ferritic stainless steel with very good corrosion resistance, good cold formability, and high strength.
