Hot dip galvanizing is to make molten metal and iron matrix reaction and produce alloy layer, so as to combine the matrix and coating. Hot dip galvanizing is the first steel parts pickling, in order to remove iron oxide on the surface of steel parts, pickling, through ammonium chloride or zinc chloride aqueous solution or ammonium chloride and zinc chloride mixed aqueous solution tank for cleaning, and then into the hot dip plating tank. Hot dip galvanizing has the advantages of uniform coating, strong adhesion and long service life.
The principle of hot dipped galvanizing is to immerse cleaned iron parts into zinc bath under the wetting effect of plating aid, resulting in iron and steel reacting with molten zinc to produce an alloyed skin film. A good hot dip galvanizing operation should ensure that all processes are under strict control and give full play to the function of the process. And if the operation of the previous process is not good, it will cause a chain of adverse reactions in the subsequent process, and greatly increase the operation cost or cause bad hot dip galvanized products. If the pretreatment is not good, the molten zinc can not react with steel normally and completely, forming the most perfect galvanized skin film tissue.
