Titanium Electric V-Port Ball Valves: Gr1 and Gr2, 8-Inch, Class 150, DN 15-250 for Water Supply
Product Introduction:
Special material ball valves come in various types, including two-way, three-way, and four-way configurations. These valves are available in both soft-seal and hard-seal designs, with floating and trunnion-mounted options. Crafted from high-performance materials like titanium, nickel, zirconium, Hastelloy, Monel, Inconel, duplex stainless steel, 904L, Alloy 20, and C4 steel, these valves excel in harsh environments. They offer superior corrosion resistance, mechanical strength, and reliability for a wide range of industrial applications.
Grades of Titanium Ball Valves:
Titanium ball valves, renowned for their corrosion resistance and strength, are ideal for demanding environments such as chemical, petroleum, pharmaceutical, and marine engineering:
TA1 (Gr1): Pure titanium with excellent ductility and toughness, easy to form and weld.
TA2 (Gr2): Pure titanium with good corrosion resistance and moderate strength, also easy to form and weld.
TA9 (Gr7): Titanium alloyed with 0.12-0.25% palladium (Pd) for enhanced corrosion resistance, particularly in reducing environments.
TA10 (Gr12): Titanium alloy containing molybdenum (Mo) and nickel (Ni) for increased strength and heat resistance while maintaining good corrosion resistance.
TC4 (Gr5): Titanium alloy with 6% aluminum (Al) and 4% vanadium (V), offering high strength, hardness, corrosion resistance, and low density.
Advantages of Using Ball Valves in Industrial Applications:
Ball valves are celebrated for their compact design, reliable sealing, straightforward construction, and ease of maintenance. Their sealing surfaces and spherical component are typically positioned in a closed state, reducing the risk of erosion from the medium. These valves are user-friendly and require minimal upkeep, making them suitable for a variety of media such as water, solvents, acids, natural gas, and more aggressive substances like oxygen, hydrogen peroxide, methane, and ethylene. Their versatility and durability make them popular across many industries. The valve body can be constructed as a single piece or assembled from multiple sections.
Main Features of Ball Valves:
Minimal Fluid Resistance: The resistance coefficient is equivalent to that of a pipe segment of the same length.
Simple Structure, Compact Size, Lightweight: Ball valves are designed for ease, being both compact and lightweight.
Reliable Sealing: Ball valves commonly use plastic materials for sealing surfaces, offering excellent sealing performance and suitability for vacuum systems.
Ease of Operation: A 90° rotation is all that is needed to fully open or close the valve, allowing for efficient remote control.
Convenient Maintenance: The straightforward design and removable sealing rings facilitate easy disassembly and replacement.
Isolation of Sealing Surfaces: When fully open or closed, the ball and valve seat sealing surfaces are isolated from the medium, preventing erosion during passage.
