BTIR is a transparent data transmission module used for meter reading. It transfers IR data to mobile application via Bluetooth low energy 4.2. It provides a new way to read meter data by optical port.

There are 1 power button and 2 LED indicators on the module.
Press and hold the power button for 2s to turn on the BTIR tool. When the BTIR is running, press and hold the power button for 2s to shut down.
LED indicate the module work status. Power indicator which is red indicates the battery status. BLE indicator which is green indicates the Bluetooth work status.

As for Android version 8.1.0, first, turn on the module to put it into broadcast status, so that it can be discovered by other devices. Then open the application installed in phone or pad, and click the START SCANNING button. (NOTE: Bluetooth option must be enabled). After that, press the CONNECT button of one device to make connection.

Module will send pairing request for the first connection, and the default password is 123456.
