Description:
This is a 8mm diameter with M2 lead screw and brass slider.
Please notice that this is not standard M2*0.4P lead screw, and this is in fact M2*0.5P lead screw.
The lead screw pitch is different.
The FPC is also specially design, and if customer can not find a connector to match with this FPC, we can send with bare pins, or solder PCB+cables+connector.
Such as Molex 51021-0400 (1.25mm pitch connector) is also optional

About linear stepper motor with slider:
Our slider motor is a full set of assembly including motor + lead screw + bracket + slider.
Motor’s step angle is generally 18°/step, which means 20 steps for each turn.
When motor rotates one turn, slider moves one lead.
For single start lead screws: pitch =lead.
So the step length is (step length means linear movement slider travels, when the stepper motor take exactly one step):
Lead screw lead/steps of each rotation
For example if lead screw is M2*0.4P (0.4mm pitch regular M2 lead screw), step angle of the motor is 18°, step length of this motor is 0.4mm/20=0.02mm/step.
Also, lead screw length is customizable, and we also need to adjust bracket’s design, if you customize lead screw length.
Application of stepper motors:
Stepper motors are used for precise control, widely used on medical equipment, 3D printer, industrial precise control, automation equipment, etc.
Stepper motors can be used in any mechanisms requirement precise conrtol and rotational/linear movement.
