This is a series of products assembled with a 35mm (NEMA14) square hybrid stepper motor and a cylinder type planetary gearbox.
The following informations is an example of a motor with a length of 34mm. In fact, the length of the motor of this product is generally available in the range of 20~52mm, and special lengths can also be customized. In general, the longer the length, the greater the torque of the motor.
In addition, the step angle of the motor has two options: 0.9 degrees and 1.8 degrees, and the more commonly used one is step angle of 1.8 degree
Regarding the reduction gear box, there are also many different speed ratios to choose from. The reduction gear box with different speed ratios has different gear stages and of course different lengths, which will be shown in detail in the following description.
Due to the different gear stages of the reducer, the efficiency of torque transmission is also different, so when choosing a motor and a reducer, you need to pay attention to these contents
The reduction ratio selection range of this series is from 3.71 to 3729.5, and different efficiency show follows:
1 stage: 32.4 mm length, 90% efficiency
2 stages: 37.2 mm length, 80% efficiency
3 stages: 43.5 mm length, 72% efficiency
4 stages: 50.4 mm length, 65% efficiency
5 stages: 56.7 mm length, 58% efficiency
When you choose a suitable stepper motor, you first need to consider the main factors such as assembly space, required speed and torque. When these indicators of the motor can be met, you can preliminarily shape the motor, and then consider the specific outlet connection, output shaft shape and other details.
To make your choice clearer, please assess your needs as follows
1. Driving Voltage & Frequency(or say rotation speed,There is such a relationship between the motor rotation speed and the drive frequency (pps), please refer to the drive frequency * step angle / 6 is the motor speed (in RPM) For example, a 1.8 degree step angle motor, 2000pps driving, the motor speed is 2000 *1.8/6=600RPM,
of course, for the motor of the gear box, the speed of the final output shaft of the gear box should be divided by the speed of the motor above and the reduction ratio
2. Number of exciting phase, this related to the choice of drive type
3. Type of output shaft ( Our standard shaft always a Dtype shaft, this can be customized according to user requirements)
4. Torque on output shaft
5. Length of lead wire and connector type, also the motor can use a standard connector.
