Polyethylene wax (PE wax), also known as polymer wax, is abbreviated as polyethylene wax. Due to its excellent cold resistance, heat resistance, chemical resistance, and wear resistance, it has been widely used.
In normal production, this wax can be directly added to polyolefin processing as an additive, which can increase the luster and processing performance of the product. As a lubricant, it has stable chemical properties and good electrical properties.
Polyethylene wax has good compatibility with polyethylene, polypropylene, polyethylene wax, ethylene propylene rubber, and butyl rubber. It can improve the flowability of polyethylene, polypropylene, and ABS, as well as the demolding properties of polymethyl methacrylate and polycarbonate. Compared to PVC and other external lubricants, polyethylene wax also has a stronger internal lubrication effect.
The characteristics and uses of polytetrafluoroethylene wax micropowder, high hardness PE/PTFE composite micropowder wax, and the addition of PTFE greatly improve the smoothness and scratch resistance of polyethylene wax micropowder, resulting in a very good synergistic effect. Polytetrafluoroethylene wax micropowder has high hardness, good particle shape, and a relatively concentrated particle size range. Its molecular weight is neat, easy to disperse, and has good wear resistance.
1、 Paint and Coatings:
Polytetrafluoroethylene wax powder can be used as an additive in coatings to improve its demolding performance, surface friction resistance, lubrication, chemical corrosion resistance, weather resistance, and waterproofing. It can also be used to improve the surface structure and glossiness of paints and coatings. Polytetrafluoroethylene wax powder can be used in paints such as wood, plastic, and industrial products, providing good hand feel and scratch resistance.
2、 Ink:
Polytetrafluoroethylene wax powder can be used as an anti-wear agent in inks, which can improve wear resistance, lubricity, surface glossiness, as well as improve agglomeration and glossiness. It can be used in various inks such as screen printing, gravure printing, inner printing, and surface printing, playing a role in anti precipitation, anti adhesion, scratch resistance, anti fouling, and anti friction. At the same time, it provides a smooth and soft feel, as well as better hydrophobicity and sealing properties.
3、 Oil and grease:
Polytetrafluoroethylene wax powder is an ideal additive for improving high and low temperature lubricants for oils and fats. It can be added to high viscosity special lubricants (perfluoropolyether oil, silicone resin, fluorosiloxane, hydrocarbon lubricants). It can improve the service life and lubrication performance of lubricants, especially in high temperature and corrosive environments.
4、 Powder coating:
It can be used in powder coatings to improve surface hardness, smoothness, friction resistance, and has a certain extinction effect.
