Higher slaking rate lime hydrator has the advantages of higher slaking rate, higher mechanization, configurable automatic control system, easy operation. The lime hydrator adopts variable frequency speed control, which is easy to operate and control the whole slaking process. The slaking and slag removal are fully mechanized. The PLC system is specially designed for higher slake rate lime hydrator to requires one person to operate and lower labor intensity. The higher slaking rate lime hydrator can also do continuous production, fast slaking speed and high production intensity. The quicklime can be conveyed into the mixing and grinding chamber with a filling rate of over 90%, which guarantee higher working efficiency and less heat loss during slaking. The material can always be in a boiling state (over 100 °C), and 15 minutes at high temperature It can be fully hydrated and achieves the purpose of energy saving and emission reduction.

This higher slaking rate lime hydrator can also deal with low quality quicklime(over-burnt or lower activity). The burnt quicklime can be completely hydrated completely under the high-intensity stirring of the hydrator, which also make full use of raw materials and reduce the cost of raw materials. The whiteness of the finished lime hydrate can be increased by 1 ~ 2 degrees, compared with the conventional lime hydrator.

The vapors developing during hydration are dedusted by the pulse-jet collector and blower. The filtering bag is an integral and important part of the lime hydrator, which guarantee the vapors can be eliminated from the lime hydrator.

Higher slaking rate lime hydrator working efficiency is influenced by stirring intensity, lime particle size, temperature of digested water. Optimizing the quicklime slaking process can increase the slaking reaction rate and produce lime hydrate with fine quality and excellent activity. The activity of lime hydrate is mainly manifested in the dispersibility of Ca(OH)2 particles. The higher the dispersibility, it means that the finer the Ca(OH)2 particles, the larger the specific reaction surface and the better the chemical activity, which can improve the desulfurization rate, digestibility, prevent package return alkali phenomenon, improve product quality, reduce equipment investment and operating costs.
