Hollow Conductor Mineral Insulated Cable of Forced Cooling Type is composed of conductor, mineral powder insulation layer and metal sheath. The center of the conductor has an axial through-hole for coolant flow. Normally, the cooling agent is water.
The structural materials are as follows:
——Conductor: copper or Cr Zr Cu alloy;
——Insulation: magnesia powder (MgO);
——Sheath: 304L, 321, 316L, 316LN, Inconel 600 or 825 alloy.
