Mineral Insulated Cable Electrical Heat Tracing for Roofs and Gutters is used for residential project to melt the snow or ice cumulated on the roof and gutter to make sure roof and gutter not overloaded and the sudden melten water pooring into house through the gaps of tiles. The water accumulated behind the ice dam which are caused to be formed by snowfalls and below zero temperatures get high enough to get under the shingles and leak into the home. Water retention builds up behind blocks of ice and snow.
The purpose of the Heat Trace by MI Heating Cable:
To avoid ice and snow accumulation.
To allow water from the roof to flow into the downpipes.
Mineral Insulated Cable Electrical Heat Tracing for Roofs and Gutters is only the application to keep water flowing on roofs and gutters. It only runs when an ice dam is forming, avoiding unnecessary use of energy. The maintenance cost remains very low.
