Brief Introduction about how to dry off the furnace
At the first time to use the furnace, need to dry off the furnace firstly.
1. 0-200℃ 12 hours
2. 200℃-400℃ 8 hours
3. 400℃-650℃ 6 hours
4. 650℃-850℃ 3 hours
5. 850℃-900℃ 2 hours
Note:Standard dryoff the furnace according above time range can extend equipment lifespan .
Introduction of electric quenching Furnace
1. Check the equipment operation and electrical appliances, infusion solution before charging.
2. Turn on the tilt switch after confirm that the device is normal ,the furnace body is upwards 45°(keep the furnace mouth upwards)
3. After the angle adjustment of the furnace body, make the workpieces(screws) are filled, move the equipment shaft to a flat position and close the furnace door , then open the ignitron tube valve of the furnace door.
4. Confirm the furnace door is in place and sealed,manually adjust the temperature control instrument(workpieces need to be heated ),then turn on the heating switch to heat ,and then turn on the rotary switch start to work ,then furnace start to rotate and heat .
5. When heating temperature of the I-zone shows 450℃-500℃, can infuse protection medium(industrial alcohol or other infusion solutions), rotate the infusion flowmeter knob to the corresponding place, during 5-10 minutes after infusion , if no flames are seen from the ignition tube of front furnace door ,should be manually lit the ignition tube with a match or lighter. After the flame came out, it’s normal from the ignition tube.Customer can manually adjust the infusion solution flow .
6. When heating temperature of the I-zone shows 780℃-800℃, can infuse carburizing medium(kerosene or other carburizing solutions). Then rotate the kerosene infusion flowmeter to the needed flow of the furnace.Customer can manually adjust the infusion solution flow .
7. It is time to discharging when the workpieces in the furnace are heated and the heat preservation meets its requirements. Turn off the protective atmosphere medium and carburizing medium, no flames are seen from the ignition tube of front furnace door, turn off the knob , open the furnace door.
8. Turn on the tilt switch, tilt down 90°,the workpieces are directly poured into the oil pool for oil quenching.(Note: After tilt down , also can press the furnace operation knob to make the workpieces poured into the oil poor quickly. Depends on the actual working area to operate.The workpieces must be poured into the material box in the oil pool, so as to make the next queching easily. )
9. After the workpieces in the furnace are fully poured, make the furnace body upward 45°, refill the workpieces.
10. After the workpieces in the oil pool reach the oil quenching time (about 10 mins or make the workpieces out according to the corresponding working flow requirement ), put in the tempering furnace to temper .
11. If the workpieces only need quenching, do not need carburizing operation, other processes keep the same, only do not use carburizing medium is ok . The carburizing temperature need to keep in 900-930℃. Quenching temperature 830-880℃. Normally, the carburizing heat preservation time is 3-5hrs, quenching 2-3hrs.
