1. Basic introduction of grinding machine
Grinding mill is the main equipment in the pelletizing process. It handles materials with a water content of 8% to 13%, so that the materials are fully mixed and refined, and the surface area of the material particles is increased. The use of grinding mill can shorten the production process of pellets, save energy consumption of equipment, and improve the quality of pellets and metal recovery rate, improve labor conditions and environmental protection conditions, etc., so it has been rapidly promoted in the pelletizing process.
2. Technical characteristics of the grinding machine
(1) The transmission forms used by the drum mill include edge leaflet, center drive, multi-point meshing edge drive, etc.; the drive forms include asynchronous motor + reducer + pinion + large gear and synchronous motor + air clutch + pinion + large gear;
(2) Generally, the support method of static and dynamic pressure bearings at both ends is adopted, and a fully enclosed self-aligning 1200 line contact 'rocker type' bearing is used. Full static pressure support;
(3) The large open gear is designed according to the American AGMA standard, equipped with a sealed and reliable gear cover, and equipped with a glycerin automatic spray lubricating device;
(4) The cylinder is the key part of the mill, and a computer is used to carry out finite element analysis on it to ensure the reliability of its use;
(5) The large and medium-sized mills are equipped with slow drive devices;
(6) Large and medium-sized mills are equipped with high and low pressure lubrication stations;
(7) The control and protection system adopts PLC control.

4. The working principle of the grinding machine
When the cylinder is driven by the peripheral large gear to rotate, the material is impacted by the grinding medium steel ball, and the grinding between the ball and the ball and between the ball and the cylinder lining plate fully exposes the fresh surface of the material, and is fully mixed. It is discharged from the mill through the discharge hole and enters the next process. This machine can effectively reduce the amount of bentonite added and improve the strength of green balls.
