Ball mill grinding machine for rock ore powder making
Ball mill is a key equipment for grinding materials into fine powder after primary crushing. It is widely used in mineral processing, building materials, chemical industry and other industries. It uses steel balls as grinding media, and completes the fine grinding of materials through mutual impact grinding between steel balls and materials. According to different grinding methods, it can be divided into dry type and wet type; according to different discharge methods, it can be divided into grid type and drop type.
Working princple
The motor of the ball mill drives the reducer, the reducer drives the pinion, the pinion drives the large gear, and the large gear drives the rotating body to rotate. The material enters from the feed port and is ground into powder by the impact of the steel ball and the ore and the self-grinding action. The discharge port (at the large gear) is equipped with a grate for filtering. Due to continuous feeding, the pressure pushes the material to the discharge port, and small particles are discharged from the grate to the discharge port, while large particles continue to grind. The slurry surface in the cylinder is low, which reduces the over-grinding of the ore and prevents the steel ball from falling out. Under the same production conditions, the production capacity of the grate mill is greater than that of the overflow mill. Rolling bearings are used at both ends of the cylinder instead of sliding bearings, which is more energy-saving.

While grinding, the materials are mixed, stirred, and homogenized (separate grinding technology, "blending" cement).
Large crushing ratio: Compared with other grinding equipment, the ball mill has a higher crushing ratio and can grind materials to finer particle sizes.
Strong production capacity: By adjusting the discharge mouth, the ball mill can grind materials with different fineness requirements to meet different production needs.
Easy maintenance: The ball mill is made of wear-resistant materials and has a long service life. At the same time, its maintenance process is relatively simple, which saves a lot of time and cost for the enterprise.
