Description:

Compared with conventional diesel, biodiesel has the following incomparable properties.
1. Excellent environmental protection characteristics. Mainly due to the low sulfur content in biodiesel, the emissions of sulfur dioxide and sulfides are low, which can be reduced by about 30%; biodiesel does not contain aromatic alkanes, such as benzene and other compounds that can cause pollution to the environment, so the exhaust gas is harmful to the human body. Less damaging than petrochemical diesel. Tests show that compared with ordinary diesel, the use of biodiesel can reduce air toxicity by 90% and reduce the cancer rate by 94%. Because biodiesel has high oxygen content, it emits less smoke when burning, and the carbon monoxide emissions are similar to diesel. The ratio is reduced by about 10% (95% with catalyst); biodiesel is highly biodegradable.
2. It has good low-temperature engine starting performance, and the cold filter plugging point reaches -20℃ without additives.
3. Has good lubrication performance. The fuel injection pump, engine block and connecting rod have low wear rate and long service life. The slightly higher kinematic viscosity makes it easier to form an oil film on the inner wall of the cylinder without affecting fuel atomization, thereby improving the lubricity of moving parts, protecting the engine, and reducing wear of parts.
4. It has high safety performance. Due to its high flash point, biodiesel is not classified as a hazardous material. Therefore, it is safer in transportation, storage and use.
5. Has good combustion performance. It has high cetane number, high oxygen content, better combustibility than petrochemical diesel, the combustion residue is slightly acidic, and the service life of the engine oil is extended.
6. It has renewable properties. As a renewable energy source, unlike oil reserves, its supply will not be exhausted through the efforts of agricultural and biological scientists.
7. There is no need to modify the diesel engine and it can be added directly for use. At the same time, there is no need to add additional refueling equipment, storage equipment and special technical training for personnel.
8. Wide usability. It can be widely used in diesel internal combustion engines such as various trucks, trains, buses, trucks, ships, engineering machinery, geological mining equipment, agricultural machinery, generator sets, etc. It is also an excellent fuel for non-power industrial and civil kilns, boilers and stoves.
