Function:

The main function of the crane outrigger control panel is to realise the precise control of the crane outrigger to ensure the stability and safety of the crane during operation, and its specific functions are as follows:
1. Outrigger expansion and contraction control
The outrigger control panel can realise outrigger extension and retraction operation individually, as well as multi-leg extension and retraction at the same time or one-key extension and retraction operation. Through the buttons or rockers on the control panel, the operator can flexibly adjust the extension or retraction length of the outriggers according to the actual operational requirements to ensure the stable support of the crane in different terrain conditions.
2. Leg Selection and Status Indication
The control panel allows the operator to select different outriggers for operation and shows the current status of the outriggers through the indicator lights. For example, the operator can select the right front outrigger, left rear outrigger, etc. for individual operation, and the indicator light on the panel will clearly show the outrigger's telescopic status and selection status.
3. One-key levelling function
The control panel is equipped with one-key levelling function, which can automatically adjust the outriggers' expansion and contraction according to the tilting angle of the vehicle body, so that the vehicle body can reach the level state. This function is especially important in complex terrain conditions, which can quickly adjust the level of the crane and improve the working efficiency.
4. Safety Protection Function
The control panel is usually equipped with an emergency stop button. Once the emergency stop button is pressed, all outrigger operations will be stopped immediately and the relevant power supply will be cut off or a flameout signal will be issued. In addition, the panel can also detect the body tilt angle through the tilt sensor, when the angle is out of the safe range, it will issue an alarm or automatically adjust the legs.
5. Remote operation and communication function
Modern crane outrigger control panel supports remote operation through remote control or mobile phone APP. Meanwhile, the main and auxiliary control panels can communicate with each other via CAN bus to achieve real-time synchronisation of operation information, which improves the flexibility and convenience of operation.

Part of the control panel also has engine ignition and flameout functions, and the operator can directly control the start and stop of the engine through the buttons on the panel.
7. Fault detection and display
The control panel is able to detect faults in the outrigger system and display fault codes through digital tubes or indicator lights. For example, when the tilt sensor communication failure or outrigger expansion and contraction is not in place, the panel will display the corresponding fault code.
