QZY Models is thrilled to unveil the meticulously crafted 1:1500 scale building urban miniatures of the Hangzhou ALI Group Headquarters Planning project by Aecom. This exquisite model showcases a blend of craftsmanship, incorporating materials such as maple wood, 3D printing, laser cutting, and CNC cutting.
The roads and base of the building miniatures models are constructed using double-layered maple wood veneer, adding a unique texture to the presentation. The landscaping tree area cleverly distinguishes between tree species, effectively separating avenue trees from landscape trees. Lighting effects have been added to outline the contours of the water system. In the core office area, the buildings are detailed using acrylic for glass curtain walls, laser-cut lines, and meticulous hand assembly. Uniform lighting effects at the base emphasize the significance of the key areas.
Residential buildings in the core area adopt a 3D printing approach for detailed construction, with hand-painted wood grain achieving a convincingly authentic effect. This technique highlights the contouring, structural relationships, and balcony decorations of the buildings. The less critical areas are entirely crafted from CNC-cut maple wood, seamlessly integrating with the wooden base, while peripheral structures utilize cost-effective 3D printing directly coated with wooden-colored paint. The building miniatures model achieves a strong sense of depth, effectively conveying spatial relationships and hierarchical elements through the use of different materials and detailed expressions.
The UV-printed matte finish on the water system adds a touch of realism. With dimensions of 2*1.5 meters, this model was completed in just 12 days, showcasing Aecom's visionary urban planning and QZY Models' excellence in model production.
