Material Introduction

1. Characteristic:

   EPDM rubber is a low cost, versatile compound that functions well in both low and high operating temperature environments. Moderate to good resistance to a variety of chemicals make it the compound of choice for a variety of applications. EPDM's chemically saturated polymer chain accounts for its superior resistance to degradation. However, its usage is limited by its incompatibility with petroleum based fluids. Because of its excellent resistance performance to ozone, heat and weather aging, it's widely used in automobile parts, waterproof accessories for building, wire and cable sheath, heat-resistant hose, rubber tape, and other fields. Meanwhile, it's resistance to polar chemicals such as alcohol, alkali, oxidant, refrigerant, detergent, ketone and lipid.
