Product descriptions
The spiral silo forming machine enables an efficient and cost-effective production of containers’ on site.
The double folding system has proven itself throughout the world through high quality and stability as well as sustainability.
Until 2010, the material thickness for the double folding system is limited to 4 mm and thus to a maximum container volume of approx. 8,000 m³.
However, licensees and partners worldwide are increasingly looking for larger tanks and silos for storing various media, and this has inspired our company to develop a new machine unit.
With the special machine developed by us, the so-called SM 60 (spiral silo forming machine 60), one of the new generation of double seam technology begins. Sheets with material thicknesses of up to 5 mm can now be formed and double folded on site.
According to stored materials, sanitation requirements and anti-corrosive requirements, the following materials could be used to carry out double folding through spiral silo forming machine to meet the requirements of various usages such as steel plate, galvanized steel plate, aluminum plate, alloy aluminum plate, stainless steel plate, nickel plate and our special material-clad steel plate (bonded the SS304 or SS316L to the galvanized).
Product Advantages
In industry, agriculture and communities, the proper storage and processing of solids and liquids places extremely demanding requirements on tanks – especially where problematic or aggressive substances are concerned.
The spiral silo forming machine is based on a simple yet ingenious tank construction principle that is the only one of its kind in the world. Steel coils, machines and accessories are transported to the building site where the tank is then constructed – the process is fast, efficient and flexible in terms of tank height and diameter. A profile is formed from steel strip by means of an automated two-step procedure. During the second step, the profile layers are joined together while the tank continues to grow upwards in a spiral. The steel strip can be tightly joined both using the spiral silo forming machine.
