The electric rotary table clamps the sheet between a pair of glass hemispheres of the rotary table and is an additional instrument installed on the object stage of polarizing microscope. The electric rotary table is composed of three, four or five rotating shafts. With the help of the rolling of each rotating axis, the crystal can roll obliquely in space to achieve the required orientation, so as to facilitate the determination of the optical constant of the crystal and the identification of minerals.
