Why does the longer the objective lens, the larger the magnification, the darker the view?
The longer the objective lens of ordinary optical microscope, the larger the magnification, so the distance between the lens and the glass specimen is smaller. Less scattered light is reflected from above, so the field of vision is dimmed, and if the microscope has its own light source, it will not appear.
According to popular one, the larger the magnification, the closer the objective lens is to the loading plate, the less light entering the microscope, and the darker the field of vision.
