Flasher.

A motorcycle flasher is a device that automatically emits a flashing light

signal when a motorcycle turns or comes to an emergency stop, to warn

pedestrians and surrounding vehicles and ensure driving safety.
The position of motorcycle flashers varies depending on the model.

Generally speaking, the flasher of a straddle motorcycle is installed

under the seat cushion, while the flasher of a scooter is installed under

the plastic shell of the front of the motorcycle. In addition, the flasher is

usually located inside the plastic cover on the left, corresponding to the

position of the battery.
When the motorcycle turns or comes to an emergency stop, the flasher

can automatically emit a flashing light signal to warn pedestrians and

surrounding vehicles, reminding them to pay attention to the motorcycle's

driving status and reducing the occurrence of traffic accidents.
At night or in low light environments, the flashing light of the flasher can

significantly increase the visibility of the motorcycle, making it easier for

other road users to detect its presence.
The flasher generates intermittent current to supply the turn signal lights,

causing the flasher to emit alternating light and dark signal lights, thereby

clearly indicating the direction of the motorcycle's travel.
Some motorcycle electronic flashers have fault detection functions. When

a short circuit or other fault occurs in the circuit, the flasher can

automatically stop working and remind the driver to promptly troubleshoot

and repair the fault through the fault indicator light and other means.
Due to the easy damage of turn signals after prolonged use, if the turn

signals do not flash or have abnormal lighting, the flasher or related

components should be checked and replaced in a timely manner to avoid

affecting driving safety.
When installing and connecting flashers, ensure that the incoming and

outgoing connections are correct and error free. If reversed or improperly

connected, it may cause the flasher to malfunction or the turn signal to

flash abnormally.
