BPV&TWCV One way Back Pressure Valve And Two Way Back Pressure Valve

Product Introduction

The BPV, or one-way back pressure valve, is most often used during workovers as a necessary device to isolate pressure inside the BOP or tree

and tubing.


The TWCV, or two-way back pressure valve, is usually installed during field pressure tests on BOP or tree.


Both the BPV and TWCV are installed on tubing hangers


BPV: Blow out prevent Valve


One-way back pressure valve is composed of back pressure valve body, rectangular sealing ring, push rod, back pressure spool and spring


TWCV: Two way check valve


Two-way back pressure valve is composed of back pressure valve body, rectangular sealing ring, back pressure spool, joint, O-ring, screw.

Back Pressure Valve

There are two kinds of BPV, one-way and two-way. The one-way BPV provide circulating drill fluids downwards and shutting off pressure from

down hole. When coming to pressure test for Christmas tree under tubing hanger.
