Description
The D series Multistage Ring Section Centrifugal Process Pump is a configured, ring section, multistage pump specifically designed for high pressure feed service in long distance water tranferring applications. A Centrifugal Process pump is one whose function is part of the process. The pump doing this type of job will be directly responsible for maintaining the continuous operation of the process.

In pulp and paper mills, centrifugal process pumps are commonly used to transfer pulp stock from washers and thickeners to the next process stage. The pulp falls into a pumping vessel, called the medium-consistency drop leg (MDL). Our centrifugal process pumps, because of their low inlet-head requirements, can transport the pulp even from a low-level vessel.

A centrifugal Process pump works by creating a centrifugal force to move liquid through the pump, increasing the liquid’s pressure as it moves from suction through the discharge end. A multi-stage centrifugal pump contains two or more impellers in the same pump unit. Ring section pumps, which are a type of multistage centrifugal pump, have multiple stages arranged in tandem inside their casings. As the liquid passes through each stage, the pressure of the liquid increases. This is especially useful for certain applications, including boiler feed systems, municipal fire suppression (think high-rise building sprinklers, for example), amine sour natural gas treatment systems, and so many others.

A centrifugal Process pump is widely used in food industry, like agricultural applications such as fruit washing and packing as well as food manufacturing operations, juice & liquor, etc.
