1) Main parts of the unit:

·Flat tire is the number one killer in road traffic accidents. According to statistics, 46% of traffic accidents on expressways are caused by tire failure, and tire burst accounts for 70% of total tire accidents. When the car is running, the tire temperature will rise due to friction with the ground. Especially in high-speed driving and emergency braking, the gas temperature in the tire will rise rapidly, and the tire pressure will increase sharply, so there will be the possibility of tire burst. However, high temperature leads to tire rubber aging, fatigue strength reduction and severe tread wear, which is also an important factor for tire burst. Compared with ordinary high-pressure air, high-purity nitrogen has low thermal expansion coefficient, low thermal conductivity and slow temperature rise, which reduces the tire heat accumulation speed, is not flammable and combustion supporting, so it can greatly reduce the probability of tire burst.

·The equipment consists of air compressor, buffer tank, refrigerator dryer, pre-filter units, activated carbon filter, PSA towers , buffer tanks and its electrical control cabinet. Each unit is connected by pipes, and assembled in one steel pallet.

· The purity of N₂ can > 95%.

Air is composed of 78% Nitrogen and 21% Oxygen. PSA Nitrogen generation technology works on the principle of air separation by adsorbing Oxygen for getting Nitrogen.
Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA Nitrogen) process comprises of 2 tanks filled with Carbon Molecular Sieves (CMS). (see image below).
Step 1: Adsorption
Pre filtered compressed air is passed through one CMS filled tank. Oxygen is adsorbed by the CMS and nitrogen comes out as the product gas. After some time of operation, the CMS inside this tank gets saturated with Oxygen and can no longer adsorb.
Step 2: Desorption
When the CMS is saturation in the one tank, the unit automatically switches nitrogen generation to the other tank. The waste gas (oxygen, carbon dioxide, etc.) is discharged into atmosphere.
Step 3: Renew
In order to regenerate the CMS in the tank, part of the Nitrogen produced by the other tank is purged into this tank. This makes quick CMS regeneration and make it available for produce nitrogen in the next cycle.
The above process cycle ensures continous supply of the Nitrogen.
