YM-B5 Penetration Comparison Standard Test Block
The YM-B5 penetration test block (also known as the stainless steel five point test block) is a means of verifying the sensitivity and operational accuracy of the penetrant. At the same time, the test block has a rough surface in the sandblasting area, which is used to verify the cleaning performance of the penetrant and the accuracy of the cleaning method. Its sensitivity is determined by the number of defects displayed and the diameter of each point in the radial domain, making it a functional standard test block.
Maintenance of test blocks:
The comparison test block must be thoroughly cleaned after use to remove any residual penetrant on the test block. After cleaning, soak it in anhydrous ethanol solution for 30 minutes, air dry or blow dry it, and place it in a test block box, and store it in a dry place.
