Main application
This instrument is suitable for measuring the sound velocity of metals (such as steel, cast iron, aluminum, copper, etc.), plastics, ceramics, glass, glass fiber and any other good ultrasonic conductor and used to judge the consistency of materials, can be widely used in petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy, shipbuilding, aviation, aerospace and other fields, especially suitable for nodular cast iron nodulation rate and grade determination
Thickness measurement field:
The thickness of the paint can be 0.1 ~ 6mm (depending on the material and probe of the paint layer), and the thickness of the metal substrate can be measured from 2 ~ 300mm (depending on the material of the substrate, the thickness of the paint layer and the probe).
High temperature thickness measurement field:
Under the condition of surface temperature 400℃, it can measure 8 ~ 25mm. It can measure 200mm at the surface temperature of 250℃. An instrument with A-scan measurement mode can measure at least 100mm at 400 ° C. Thickness measurement at other temperature conditions, depending on the site.
Ultra-thin thickness measurement field:
The thinnest thickness can test down to 0.5mm, the thickest thickness can test upto 508mm (ordinary carbon steel), need to match different probes. Metal/non-metal can be measured (depending on the density of the grain structure of the material)
Special functions
1. With "Echo - Echo (E-E)" measurement mode, it is possible to measure "through paint layer" and "shield paint layer" and obtain the accurate thickness of the substrate under the paint layer
