  1. Product introduction

Vacuum box leakage detection is a commonly used method, such as the weld leakage detection of tank bottom weld and pressure vessel. At present, the geometric size of the Vacuum box on the market is roughly: the width is about 200 mm, the length is about 600 mm, the height is about 300 mm, and the weight is from 5 kg to 10 kg. The use method is to buckle the Vacuum box in the position to be detected, the inspector crouches down to apply a certain pressure to the Vacuum box to ensure that the seal between the edge of the Vacuum box and the tested object is intact, and then the vacuum pump vacuums the inside of the box, when the vacuum degree in the box reaches the negative pressure value specified in the standard. You can check whether there is leakage in the detected position from the transparent window of the Vacuum box. After the detection is completed, open the intake valve to fill the inside of the box with air. After the negative pressure in the box is zero, the inspector can move the Vacuum box to the next detection position for detection.

Because the box of the Vacuum box has a certain weight, if the number of welds tested is large, such as a few thousand meters long weld, then the inspectors will squat and stand up for thousands of times, and move the Vacuum box for a long time, the inspectors will also spend a lot of physical strength; Due to the completion of a position detection, the detection personnel need to do crouching, pressure, standing up, moving repeated actions, so it will delay a lot of time, the efficiency is very low; In addition, if the seal is not tight, the inspectors have to spend a lot of effort, even kneeling to put pressure on the Vacuum box, and sometimes use old clothes or old cloth stained with water and other items, the box is surrounded to ensure sealing, which is also time-consuming and labor-intensive.

Leakage detection of large fillet welds is more difficult. In order to ensure a good seal between the Vacuum box and the tank wall and the bottom of the tank, the inspector must exert a great force on the Vacuum box in both vertical and horizontal directions. However, since the inspector is facing a high wall and the detection position happens to be in a very low corner, the inspector does not hold or grasp the Vacuum box at this position. It makes them too strong, so a lot of time and effort is wasted sealing the edges of the chamber.

To solve the above problems, our company has developed two kinds of welding seam leakage detection boxes, which make the welding seam leakage detection of tank bottom more easy and efficient.

2. Characteristics of straight welded Vacuum box

1) The bottom is installed with a walking wheel, and the spring is above the walking wheel. When the vacuum is not pumped, the sealing sponge at the bottom of the vacuum box is ensured to be about 10 mm high from the ground. The inspection personnel can easily push the Vacuum box to walk without bending to lift and bend down, and the operation is convenient and quick to bend over directly with the feet

2) In the leak detection, the inspector stands on the Vacuum box, and relies on the inspector's own gravity to deform the sealing sponge to achieve the purpose of sealing. The sealing speed is fast and the efficiency is high, and it only takes about 20 seconds to complete the leak detection at one point

3) The Vacuum box is equipped with an auxiliary rod, which can be used to push the Vacuum box to walk; It is also the armrest for the inspection personnel when they stand on the Vacuum box to ensure the safety of the inspection personnel; The armrest is also equipped with an air intake valve, and the detection personnel can complete the pressure relief work of the real Vacuum box without the need to flap the waist

4) The vacuum gauge and safety valve are installed on the box. When the vacuum reaches the set value, the safety valve will jump to keep the vacuum in the vacuum box at the set constant value, so that there is no need to turn off the vacuum pump frequently, saving time and speeding up the inspection speed.

5)By using the Vacuum box, the detector can complete the leak detection work only in an upright position, which greatly reduces the labor intensity of the detector, especially the labor intensity of the waist

3. Characteristics of fillet weld vacuum box

1) The side is equipped with a walking wheel, which can push the Vacuum box to walk; Edge adhesive sealing sponge, mounted on both sides of a guide rail, each side of the guide rail mounted on a micro push rod motor (single motor thrust of 19 kg) and an electromagnet (single suction of 80 kg)

2) When energized, it is adsorbed on the tank wall as a fixed point for applying force, which is equivalent to fixing one end of the pushrod motor on the tank wall. During the inspection, the push rod motor will push the Vacuum box to move towards the tank wall, thus compressing the sealing sponge to ensure the seal of the Vacuum box

3) Using the void box, the sealing speed is fast, the efficiency is high, and the leak detection of a point only takes about 20 seconds

4) The same as the straight weld Vacuum box, the auxiliary rod is installed with an air intake valve, in addition to the electromagnet and push rod motor control switch, the box is installed with a vacuum meter and safety valve, when the vacuum degree reaches the set value, the safety valve starts, so that the vacuum degree in the vacuum box is maintained at the set constant value, so that there is no need to frequently turn off the vacuum pump, saving time and speeding up the inspection speed
