Permanent Magnet Flaw Detector Magnetic Particle Flaw Detection Without Power Supply
I. Overview
HCDX-310 permanent magnet flaw detector is a kind of small portable testing tool that can be used for magnetic particle flaw detection without power supply. The testing tool can be used in workshop or laboratory. It is more suitable for testing in places without power supply or in environments where special electrical equipment is explosive.

III. Principle
Using the strong magnetic field of permanent magnet to magnetize the work of the ferromagnetic material to be tested, local magnetic poles are formed on the surface of the workpiece or near the surface of the defect. When the magnetic powder with good magnetic conductivity is applied on the working surface, it will be attracted by the local magnetic pole and piled up on it, so as to show the position and shape of the defect.
Iv. Structural features
The magnetic pole spacing is adjustable from 50 mm to 200 mm, and the probe can be rotated to detect defects in different planes. Large workpiece can be partially magnetized in sections, which is convenient for field operation, especially advantageous for high altitude and occasions where it is not convenient for live operation.
V. Use method
1. Matters needing attention
(1) Collision is strictly forbidden to disturb the regular arrangement of magnetic domains, weaken magnetism and affect normal work;
(2) Do not approach strongly magnetic objects to prevent reverse magnetization of the instrument;
(3) After use, short-circuit the two yokes of iron with filler iron to form a circuit.Reduce the interference of earth magnetic field and external magnetic field;
2. Operation
(1) To be prepared for the inspection before, to remove iron, inspection lift > 18 k ɡ can use;
(2) Check whether the moving parts are in good working order;
(3) During flaw detection, properly adjust the magnetic pole spacing, so that the workpiece and yoke iron good contact. According to the technical procedure of flaw detection, the large workpiece should be partial magnetized;
(4) The flaw detector is suitable for continuous, wet flaw detection;
(5) For the workpiece with a certain Angle, two arms and yoke iron can be adjusted to make the yoke iron in good contact with the workpiece for flaw detection;
(6) After the operation, clean the instrument, short circuit the two yoke iron with iron and put it into the toolbox;
3. Fault and maintenance
(1) Insufficient lift:
A. Check whether all parts of the instrument are in good contact or not.When the magnetoresistance increases and the lifting force decreases, adjust the relevant screws to make them contact well.
B. If the parts are in good contact, the magnetic steel's magnetism is weakened and the instrument should be magnetized;
(2) Replace the parts when they are damaged;
(3) The normal continuous use, half a month to a test of flaw detector, lifting force > 18 kg, block is 600 x 200 x 20;
(4) Magnetize the instrument regularly (determined by itself according to the usage);
(5) Magnetization equipment can be used for special magnetization machine or flaw detector produced by our factory;
