Trip overview

We fly from Kathmandu to Lukla airstrip in the Khumbu region and trek up to Namche Bazar, Tengboche (famous for its monastery) and into the Khumjung village, a very nice settlement of Sherpa’s people. This trek is a great introduction to Sherpa country and its culture with great mountain views, a very popular destination for first time trekkers in Nepal. This trek is best suited for those who do not have enough time for longer treks into the high mountains.

Visit a popular spiritual hub in Tengboche – Tengboche monastery. The artistic monastery in such peaceful and dramatic atmosphere will lift up your belief towards God. It can also be an opportunity to get acquainted with the Tibetan Buddhist culture that is highly practiced in those regions. The friendly local people with a blend of nature and mountains, Everest Panorama Trek can be a wonderful journey to experience the beauty that resides in the Everest region of Nepal.

Trip itinerary

DAY 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1345meters). There you will be met by our Airport Representative and transferred to hotel by private tourist vehicle. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 02: An early morning fly to Lukla from Kathmandu and trek to Phakding (2610mtrs / 8563ft). Flight 30 minutes and walking 3 hours.

DAY 03: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m / 11286ft) walking 5:30 hours.

DAY 04: Acclimatization day at Namche Bazar. Walking 5 hours.

DAY 05: Trek to Tengboche (3860m / 12664ft) walking 5 hours.

DAY 06: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m / 11286ft) walking 6:30 hours

DAY 07: Trek to Lukla (2840m / 9317ft) walking 6:30 hours

DAY 08: An early morning flight back to Kathmandu from Lukla and transfer to the hotel.

DAY 09: After breakfast, the trip ends, our Airport Representative will drop you to the Kathmandu international airport for your final flight departure from Nepal.
