GB/T 36948-2018 High Modulus Polyethylene Fibre Ropes For Offshore Station Keeping is made of high-tenacity High Modulus Polyethylene fibre,with an average tenacity not less than 2.5 N/tex.It shall comprise a rope core,providing intended strength and stiffness,and a cover. The material of rope cover when employed polyester fibre in rope shall have an average tenacity not less than 0.73 N/tex.It shall have types of construction as torque-neutral or torque matche which will be specified by the purchaser.TF type is intended for use in mooring systems together with chain or torque-neutral sprial strand wire ropes.TM type is intended for use in mooring systems together with six-strand wire ropes or other torque-neutral wire ropes.
