GB/T 33364-2016 Five Layer Full-locked Offshore Mooring Steel Wire Rope is a specialized wire rope designed for long-term mooring applications in offshore environments. It features several significant characteristics and advantages.
This wire rope has a high density coefficient, exceeding 0.9, for all types of wire rope crowns. Compared to ordinary wire ropes of the same diameter, it provides approximately 65% higher total breaking tension. The entire wire rope has a cylindrical rod-like structure, offering a large supporting surface, low unit area pressure, uniform stress distribution, and a long service life. The smooth and sealed surface prevents the penetration of external air and water, and the internal lubricating oil is well-preserved, effectively preventing corrosion of the internal wires. The adjacent layers of steel wires are twisted in opposite directions, ensuring excellent non-rotation characteristics, a large twist distance, and minimal structural elongation.
