The GB/T 33364-2016 Three Layer Full-locked Offshore Mooring Steel Wire Rope is designed for long-term mooring applications such as positioning and anchoring of mobile drilling platforms, floating production units, and offshore loading systems with a lifespan exceeding 5 years. It can be constructed in either right lay or left lay. This wire rope offers exceptional performance with its high density coefficient, exceeding 0.9, and a breaking tension approximately 65% higher than ordinary wire ropes of the same diameter. Its construction resembles a round rod, providing a large supporting surface, uniform stress distribution, and extended service life. The smooth and sealed surface prevents the penetration of air, water, and corrosion, ensuring the integrity of the internal wires. The adjacent layers of steel wire are twisted in opposite directions, resulting in excellent non-rotation characteristics, a large twist distance, and minimal structure elongation.
