Advanced PA6 formulations combine Nylon 6’s inherent strength with nanotechnology enhancements. Carbon nanotube additives (2-5% wt.) improve EMI shielding (40dB attenuation) while maintaining 120MPa tensile strength – critical for drone propellers and 5G antenna enclosures demanding conductivity and lightness.
Retains PA6’s inherent benefits (high strength, abrasion resistance) while addressing weaknesses like moisture sensitivity or brittleness.
Competes with metals and more expensive polymers (e.g., PEEK) in high-stress applications.
