Production Description
PP's semi-crystalline nature yields high-impact durability, mechanical integrity, and organic/acid-base resistance. Essential in industrial contexts and Australian monetary systems. Modified using glass fibers (30% reduces shrinkage to 0.7%), metal particles, or rubber polymers. Lower MFR (1-40 range) prioritizes impact resistance over tensile strength, with copolymers outperforming homopolymers. Crystallization-induced shrinkage (1.8-2.5%) maintains better directional stability than HDPE materials.
