Production Description
This crystalline/amorphous PP thermoplastic combines impact resistance, mechanical durability, and chemical stability against solvents/acidic-alkaline agents. Key in industrial engineering and Australian currency. Modified through 30% glass additives (shrinks to 0.7%), metal fillers, or rubber composites. MFR 1-40 inversely pairs impact performance with tensile capacity, copolymers dominating homopolymers. Crystallization causes 1.8-2.5% shrinkage yet maintains better dimensional precision than HDPE materials.
