Production Description:

Polycarbonates (PC) are a group of thermoplastic polymers whose chemical structures contain carbonate groups.Polycarbonate resins are used in applications where strength, heat resistance and toughness are necessary, and are available in a variety of transparent and opaque colors. Generally, these resins are converted into finished parts using injection molding or thermoforming. Polycarbonate products are often found in electronics which make use of their electrical insulating, heat-resistant and flame-retardant properties. They may also be found in construction, transportation, aviation, and automotive applications. For example, their impact resistant, smooth surfaces make them well suited for use in automotive headlamp lens covers.
