Hastelloy C-276 C-22 Gasket Ring Metal Washer Mechanical Sealing

Metal ring gasket is an annular metal piece used to fill the gap between two connecting parts to ensure sealing. They play a key role in the sealing of pipes, flanged connections, valves and other mechanical equipment.

Alloy C-276 is one of the most corrosion resistant alloys on the market. Alloy C276, with a high nickel contents, is immune to chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking. The high molybdenum and chromium contents allow the alloy to perform in oxidising, non-oxidising and mixed acids media, whilst exhibiting outstanding resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion attack. The addition of tungsten inhibits the development of pits. Finally, C276 is suitable for off-shore applications where hydrogen-sulphide(H2S) stress corrosion cracking resistance is essential.

Alloy C-22 is a nickel-based superalloy renowned for its exceptional resistance to corrosion and a wide range of aggressive environments. Also known as UNS N06022, this alloy belongs to the Hastelloy family and is composed mainly of nickel, chromium, molybdenum, and tungsten. C22 nickel alloy offers superior performance in highly corrosive conditions, making it a preferred choice for applications in chemical processing, petrochemical, and other industries where resistance to corrosion and aggressive media is critical.
