Nickle Alloy Flanges are disk-shaped components that are most common in piping engineering, and they are always used in pairs. In pipeline engineering, flanges are primarily used for connecting pipes. For pipes that need to be connected, a flange plate is installed; low-pressure pipes can use threaded flanges, while those operating at pressures above 4 kilograms use welded flanges. Between the two flanges, a sealing point is added, and then they are secured with bolts. Flanges for different pressures have different thicknesses and require different bolts. For equipment such as water pumps and valves that need to be connected to pipes, the relevant parts of these devices are also made into corresponding flange shapes, which are also referred to as flange connections. Generally, any connection component that uses bolts to connect and seal between two planes can be called a “flange.”

Flange parts: such as the connection of ventilation pipes; these types of parts can be referred to as “flange parts.” However, this type of connection is only a part of a device; for example, the connection between a flange and a water pump would not lead to calling the water pump a “flange part.” Smaller components, such as valves, can be called “flange parts.”

Classification: The thickness of flanges and the diameter and number of connecting bolts vary with different pressure ratings. Depending on the pressure class, flange gaskets also come in different materials, ranging from low-pressure asbestos gaskets, high-pressure asbestos gaskets to metal gaskets.

Corrosion Resistance:

Alloy 600 is able to withstand a variety of corrosion. The alloy has excellent resistance to alkaline solution performance and good resistance to strong oxidizing acid solution performance. It is particularly resistant to the erosion of dry chlorine or hydrogen chloride even at temperatures up to 650°C.

Characteristics:

The excellent mechanical properties of this alloy endow the material with high strength and good workability. It has good corrosion resistance, especially in alkaline environments, and can be used in low and high temperature environments.
