Corrosion resistance and main operating environment:
Haseley alloy c-276 is a tungsten-containing ni-cr-mo alloy with very low silica carbon content and is considered to be a universal corrosion resistant alloy. The alloy has the following characteristics: in the oxidation and reduction atmosphere state, the majority of the corrosion medium has excellent corrosion resistance. (2) excellent pitting corrosion resistance, crack corrosion and stress corrosion performance. The higher content of molybdenum and chromium makes the alloy resistant to chloride corrosion, while tungsten further improves the corrosion resistance. At the same time, c-276 alloy is one of the only materials that can resist the corrosion of wet chlorine, hypochlorite and chlorine dioxide solution. It is one of the few materials that can be used in hot concentrated sulfuric acid solution.
