Introduction

UNS S31803 is a medium alloy duplex stainless steel with prEN value of 32-33. Its corrosion resistance is between AISI 316L and 6% Mo + n austenitic stainless steel.

It is obtained from low carbon steel or low alloy high strength steel after critical zone heat treatment or controlled rolling. The yield strength of typical dual phase steel σ S is 310mpa, tensile strength σ B is 655mpa. Dual phase steel is used to manufacture complex components formed by cold stamping and deep drawing. It can also be used as pipeline steel, chain, cold drawn steel wire, prestressed reinforcement, etc.
