Meltblown nonwovens are made of new polypropylene. A fabric with low fuzzing but high water and oil absorption can absorb 8% of its own weight. It is often used in equipment maintenance, production line maintenance and workers' hand cleaning. It can be processed into wet wipes with solvent, and can also be made into wiping cloth resistant to acid-base solvent.
