Performance and Function

Horizontal centrifuge is an efficient centrifugal separation equipment, mainly consisting of drum, rotor, etc. When the centrifuge is working, the drum and rotor (with spiral blades) rotate at a certain differential speed in the same direction at high speed. After impurities are removed, the kitchen waste slurry is introduced into the inner cylinder of the rotor through the feed pipe, accelerated, and enters the drum. Under the action of centrifugal force, heavier solid materials deposit on the wall of the drum to form a sediment layer. The spiral continuously pushes the deposited solid material to the slag outlet and discharges it out of the machine. Lighter water and oil phase materials are discharged from the machine through centripetal pumps, centrifugal forces, and backflow devices inside the equipment.

The slurry after cleaning kitchen waste is divided into three components under the force of a high-speed rotating centrifuge: crude oil, wastewater, and waste residue. This equipment can operate continuously under a maximum feed rate of 8 tons/hour, and has stable, efficient, economical, reliable, and strong anti-interference ability.

The centrifuge is composed of a casing, a drum, a rotor (with spiral blades), bearings, bearing seats, differentials, main motors, auxiliary motors, lubrication stations, brackets, etc. The entire unit is placed on the same common base, and the support leg shock absorption device is placed on the equipment foundation.

Working principle
Centrifuge is consist of two rotors, one is drum the other is screw conveyor ( For short spiral). Drum running with High-speed, the drum and slurry will rotate together and by the centrifugal force effect, this centrifugal force is larger than the weight many times, so that solid particles will be separated from the liquid,from the drum axis, then setting on the drum wall, the screw conveyor which located in the drum and rotating at the speed which lower than the speed of drum then push the solid particles to the residue discharge port.Difference speed between outside drum and screw conveyor depends on the speed of the transmission ratio of differential and its rotation speed. The clear liquid with different densities of the two phases forms concentric cylinders, with the lighter liquid in the inner layer and the heavier liquid in the outer layer, which are discharged
through the outlet of the light phase respectively.
