EPON 4 ports POE ONU triple play network equiment for IP TV , IP camera , IP telephone
---- NTW-E17400P
4 Ports POE EPON ONU description
NTW-E17400P series is a digital 4 ports POE EPON ONU, designed by natywish, provides 4*10/100Mbps self-adaptation POE ports . It can achieve remote fault diagnosis and location ,reduce maintenance workload,Iron shell design, applicable to FTTB/FTTH and other application environments..For the connected equipment that non electricity,it would automatically stop the power supply. It can be connected to the network camera, IP telephone and wireless AP network equipment and supply power and cooperate well with center OLT.support IEEE802.3af15.4W and IEEE802.3at30W power supply standard. It can automatically identify the electrical equipment and provide power, meet the IEEE802.3af/at standard.
4 Ports POE EPON ONU supports VLAN function
VLANs allow network administrators to group hosts together even if the hosts are not directly connected to the same network switch. Because VLAN membership can be configured through software, this can greatly simplify network design and deployment. Without VLANs, grouping hosts according to their resource needs necessitates the labor of relocating nodes or rewiring data links. VLANs allow networks and devices that must be kept separate to share the same physical cabling without interacting, improving simplicity, security, traffic management, or economy. For example, a VLAN could be used to separate traffic within a business due to users, and due to network administrators, or between types of traffic, so that users or low priority traffic cannot directly affect the rest of the network's functioning. Many Internet hosting services use VLANs to separate their customers' private zones from each other, allowing each customer's servers to be grouped together in a single network segment while being located anywhere in their datacenter. Some precautions are needed to prevent traffic "escaping" from a given VLAN, an exploit known as VLAN hopping.
supports IGMP snooping
IGMP snooping is the process of listening to Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP) network traffic. The feature allows a network switch to listen in on the IGMP conversation between hosts and routers. By listening to these conversations the switch maintains a map of which links need which IP multicast streams. Multicasts may be filtered from the links which do not need them and thus controls which ports receive specific multicast traffic.
