Description


SPACECOM QSFP28 100G SR4 module is manufactured using the advanced COB (Chip on Board) process. It consists of a microcontroller, a transmitter optical engine and a receiver optical engine. The module has built-in clock and data recovery functions. The default 4 channels are fixed at 25.78Gbps rate range. Modify the settings. The module can also work in the 28Gbps range and support OTN services.

The transmitter optical engine includes a 4-channel transmitter clock data recovery (CDR) and laser driver circuit (LD), a 4-channel VCSEL laser array, and a 4-channel detection photodiode (MPD) array. The high-speed differential electrical signal output by the host is sent to the laser driver for amplification by CDR recovery shaping, driving the VCSEL laser to generate an optical signal, and the optical signal is coupled to the optical fiber through the optical lens.
